Here at rock machinery we know how important after sales care is you should feel confident that your rock machinery product comes with a first class back up service.
We have a fully equipped modern workshop with highly trained staff. Our Head engineer has over 20 years experience in the forestry / horticulture / agricultural industries, trained by John Deere, Briggs and Stratton and SRUC college. We also have knowledgeable and friendly staff on the other end of the phone that know our machines inside and out. In addition to all this we have spares for all machine available on shelf on a long-term basis. Every machine purchased through us is built, tested and meticulously checked here at our premises in Scotland. Our standout facilities allow us to go above and beyond for our customers.
From August 2017 all our venom log splitters comes with a limited 2-year warranty.We offer as standard a one year limited warranty on selected products such as chippers, stump grinders mowers, PTO powered equipment and non-engine driven items.
In the unlikely even you have a problem with your machine simply give us a call or email with the details of your issue (pictures always help as well). Our trained technical staff will contact you as soon as possible to try and diagnose the problem and if parts are required we can send them out on a next day service with TNT.
Although very rarely if the issue cannot be resolved over the phone or with parts simply get the machine on a pallet and sent it back it will be checked and looked over by us and we will make a completely non biased decision on wither the issue is covered by our warranty. If we are unsure of the cause we WILL ALWAYS decide in favour of the customer.
If the issue is a fault with the machine we will carry out all repairs send the machine back down and reimburse transport costs. We unfortunately will not cover any costs incurred due to product down time.
If the issue is not covered by our warranty we will notify you before any work is carried out and submit a report of our findings. Then the option and cost will be given if you would like the work to be carried out.
Please note that wearable parts including, but not limited to: belts, blades, tires, stump grinder teeth, clutches etc are not covered under the warranty. Also fair wear and tear will not be covered under the warranty.
All machines must be properly maintained, all issues caused by failure to maintain will not be covered under the warranty.
Many of our machines come fitted with Briggs and Stratton engines as standard. Briggs engines are one of the best engines around and there warranty and parts service reflects this. Each machine is fitted with the Briggs engine we think best suits that particular machine, for example the vanguard engine comes with a 3 year warranty and the series and pro ranges come with a 2 year domestic and a years commercial warranty. You’ll never be far away from Briggs specialist with dealers and repair centres all over country.
